DriftLogic Privacy Policy

DriftLogic does not collect, store, or share any personal information. Period.

No accounts, no tracking. The app has no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party tracking of any kind.

Network requests. To show live river conditions, the app makes anonymous requests to the U.S. Geological Survey's public water-data service (waterservices.usgs.gov) for the river you select. To display video thumbnails, it loads images from YouTube's public image servers. These requests contain no personal information — only the river gauge ID or video ID being requested. Nothing about you or your device is transmitted by DriftLogic.

Your selections stay on your phone. Your chosen river and condition preferences are stored only on your device and never leave it.

Outbound links. Tapping a shop button opens an Amazon search in your browser; these links include an affiliate tag that identifies our site (not you) so we may earn from qualifying purchases. Tapping a video opens YouTube. Once you leave the app, Amazon's and YouTube's own privacy policies apply.

Children. The app collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes. If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address.
